At 61k9, we’re dedicated to helping you and your dog develop a strong relationship through our expert training programs in San Diego County.
Our philosophy is simple: every dog is unique, so our approach must be tailored to suit the individual needs of each dog and owner. As balanced trainers, we utilize a variety of tools and techniques, selecting the most effective method to help your dog learn, adapt, and thrive—without adhering to rigid ideologies.

Our Dog Training Approach
Our comprehensive training services cover a wide range of needs, from basic pet training to specialized instruction in protection and scent work. To ensure we provide the best guidance, we start by offering a free phone evaluation to assess your dog’s behavior and determine the most appropriate course of action. This personalized approach allows us to create a training plan that aligns with your goals and addresses any specific behavioral challenges. At 61k9, we understand that flexibility is key to successful training, which is why we offer a variety of programs to fit your schedule and training objectives. Our small group drop-in classes, held four times a week, provide a convenient way to work on skills with professional guidance while interacting with other dogs and owners. If you prefer a more personalized approach, we offer private lessons tailored to your dog’s unique needs. For those seeking an immersive experience, our board and train program offers intensive training with the added convenience of boarding
